Guest Post (VBS) - Kaleidoscope by Levi The Poet

So if you don't know by now, other than helping out the homeless, another "top cause" of mine would be standing up against sexual exploitation.

It is a problem more serious than we know, with Atlanta actually being one of the top hubs for trafficking. However, if you would like to join in a day of 40 days of fast and intercessory of prayer, please visit this Facebook event page, put together by a network of churches in the GA area.

I came across this video today from Levi The Poet in which ... well ... I suggest you just take a gander (must props to Levi - should he ever read this - you are a man of passion and compassion, a God-blessed-deadly combination)!

If you are interested in making a difference, please check out Red Thread Movement, StreetGrace, MATTOO or The Mocha Club (taken from my C-n-C links) to learn what you can do to help!

BTW *LoveIs* has a new (slightly tweaked) logo - check it out, many props to my friend Andrew for helping me out!

*LoveIs* - 2.26.12

So you know if you have already baked 233 chicken wings by 9am it is going to be a good day right?
Right!

I would like to start off by saying many – many thanks to the Father for keeping Pat safe (shown right in picture below, standing). On the way to service last Sunday, he was knifed in the neck over a few little cents (booface + grrface maximus). Seems due to the rain, he took a cross street and couldn't hear the footsteps behind him. However, the assailant has been picked up and will be prosecuted.  I am just super happy he is safe, because he shows up each and every Sunday, in rain or shine, to help me pass out things, even if only just donuts and bottled water. He is a real blessing in my life, as well as those that are in need around the L5P area, as when he is not working his FT job (RN), he is constantly devoted to helping out others!

Today, as the weather was divine, a few new faces came about, which is always a delight. It was really great to see two guys (who live out of their truck), help out others in need by handing out some of the extra items they have collected through-out the week. If only more of the “world community” could help out each other regardless of social casts/classes, we would be doing better even more so (global speaking). There really is a world out there in need and we each need to do our part. Perhaps you have something “against” those who are homeless, what about helping victims of sex trafficking or helping out foster children, what about helping out families who cannot pay their medical bills or habit for humanity, everyone just needs to have something they contribute to (I feel). Kind of taken a page from “pay it forward” all of the time, because you have been given it ... and you probably have extra (of something) whether it be time, money, resources, etc, so why not turn it back around for the good of our world?

In the next few months, I will share an initiative for *LoveIs* (in regards to becoming a 501-C), so I appreciate your prayers on this now, just for guidance of how to go about it all.

As an update for Brother Dewey, doctors have said it is progressing nicely and should be able to return in around a month.

For Little Jimmy (who had colon surgery), he is not doing so well, so please keep him in your prayers. He is under constant watch at the moment, so …

Special note just goes out to anyone who has recently lost a loved one, may you mourn their passing for only a short time, as we know we have the hope in Christ, that we will be able to see them again!

Tune today by ReHab, but if it just doesn't happen to be your taste of music, at least check out the lyrics here

Guest Post (VBS) - [All about] Lent [more than just a Catholic thing]

Am I Catholic? Nope
Was I ever Catholic? Nope
Will I ever be Catholic? Nope
Do I partake in Lent? Yep
Why? Because in a nutshell, it is about giving up something(s) in order to align yourself with the Father, Son and Spirit. It is about sacrificing something for the One (God) who created you, the One who died for you (Jesus) and the One who guides you (Holy Spirit). I myself have given up television and Starbucks. If you know me, then it makes perfect sense. I spend hours after work watching episodes of The (original) Twilight Zone [current Netflix option of choice at the moment] and can drop a few $$$ on S-Bizzy in a week. By giving up these two things I am henceforth freeing up more time to devote to God and money for His purpose. Various past givings of mine and current givings of others include desserts, soda, Facebook, eating out, etc. I believe you should search yourself and seek God to what it is that He would have you give up, as everyone is different.

In the meantime, please check out the video below and Relevant Magazine article "Why Practicing Lent IS Crazy" to learn a little more about the topic.

WaxNotNeeded: A Statement, A Thought and A Task

Earlier today I posted the following on my Facebook ...

Have you heard the one about the 16 year old teenage atheist winning a law-suit to remove a banner from her school because it started off "Our Heavenly Father" ended in "Amen" and is henceforth unconstitutional? It was written by a former student back in the 60's. :( It seems she has since been receiving threats, which is no good on the part of the believers, but alas I always wondered something ... if you just don't believe, what matter is it of yours that someone else does? I mean, as believers, we are called to spread the gospel to those who do not know the truth, so yes your unbelief to us requires action. Yet, if you believe ... in nothing .. what matter is it of yours that we believe (know to be true) "something"? // Alas, it has been happening since the dawn of time and will continue since if you are not working “for” God, inevitably you are (more than often) being led by another master “against” God. This will carry on (evermore rapidly now) until finally the TRUE-TRUTH is revealed for all to see, as when the TRUE King returns to His throne after the binding of the evil one [steps away from mic] //

Of course after posting it my mind starting thinking about it in a whole, as I hope others did (will do) when they read it. Though no worries about me going on a rant about unbelievers and how they seem to want to punish those who believe, it is more so about how in this current age, how do we as believers respond? Do we, as a whole, witness to the world as much as generations past? Make no mistake about it, as my fingers press upon the keypad right now, they might as well be pointing to myself, for I have conviction within my own being of not knowing where all my friends even stand on the matter (ie saved or not). This thought, in all honesty, has been weighing a lot on my mind as of late, as I do not wish to see anyone suffer the fate of hell, even more so those close to me.

I mean we, as believers, all hope to hear “well done, good and faithful servant” when this is all said and done by the Father, but do we not want everyone – in the history of ever – to also hear those same words? Earlier Christians (aka the first disciples) spread the word of Jesus at any cost, now I am talking imprisonment, physical torment and even death. We often coward down, saying whispered prayers at fancy restaurant tables,  reading weathered Bibles in closed cars at lunch time – instead of in the open break room, telling young children that though while it is ok to talk about God on Sundays to your fellow children’s church attendee’s it best not at your public school lest you be scorned. How shameful we are! How cruel are we really, to keep a hold of the Truth that we claim that rules our everyday lives from the world in which is dying around us!

Why do we hide our light? Is it fear? Truly, is that it? I would only stand to reckon, fear of people – of what they might do, what they might say, how we might be looked down upon in the eyes of some fellow human. However, how much more-so must the Savior of our sins weep when we (in effect) deny Him from our lack of action and communication for the advanced of His kingdom here?
So where does the task part come in? Well I am sure you can guess what I am going to say … BE A LIGHT! Show Christ, Share Christ in SOME WAY – SOME FASHION – each and every day as you carry out your day. Show the world what God really is about – not about being perfect, not about being “holier than thou”, not about hate – but about LOVEPEACEHONORCOMMUNION and FAMILY! About putting your trust in the One who created you, about lifting others up – instead of kicking them down (or even while they are so), about feeding the hungry, providing shelter for the homeless, mending the broken, hugging the downcast, choosing GOOD over EVIL and calling upon forgiveness each and every time you do fall (which is without recourse inevitable), but not because of what YOU have done (because we are just humans), but because of HIS MERCYHIS GRACE and HIS GOODNESS (a la the trinity, Father – Son and Spirit in One)!

Now, I am holding back on an official VERSE BLAST in hopes you will take a gander at the additional reading section below. The traditional time of Lent/ala 40 days of fasting is here/coming up (depending upon your celebration/recognition schedule), and so now, is a better time than ever to reacquaint yourself with the “good book” and of course, the Father’s will. However, here is just one scripture art for your view ...

Dear Heavenly Father – We thank You for all that has been, is now and is to come. Thank you for breathing life into our being and calling us into Your court. May we be a flood light to a world that is dark, decayed and in despair. May we be renewed in You daily, ever in alignment with Your will, living in Your purpose and relaying on You alone, instead of our own devices. May we be shielded from the things around us which seek to bring us harm. May we ban together as a true family to work in one accord. In the name of Your son, Jesus Christ. ><>

*LoveIs* - 2.19.12

Have you read the verse in the Bible before which states, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it” (Hebrews 13:2)?

Interesting concept eh? I think more on this verse (since beginning *LoveIs*) than ever before. As the routine goes, there are people who I have seen only once as they are “passing through” the Atlanta area – on their way to another destination, where as some I see only every few months, even though I know they keep their residence within the area. Of course, if you should so anticipate that someone is an angel, do you ask them? I have been before … and I think it’s ok, almost like some celestial badge of honor (albeit temporary). It is the goal of every believer to be a light to a darkened world – to live as such as people see Christ shining through you, right? In the world in which we live, where more people are concerned with getting and taking, rather than giving and sharing, of course a mere mortal could be tagged as such if they express extreme kindness and generosity to someone in which I way they have not seen before. I’ve taken it as a true compliment the times I have been asked, but then quickly let them know I am just a human who is doing what God told her to do, with imperfections and flaws just like the rest of the lot.

Anywho, just a random thought for this Sunday I thought I would share.

Perhaps, might I recommend, you be a human angel to someone who crosses your path this week. See someone ponder over if they have enough money to pay for everything they have in front of you at the check out? Help them out. See someone who has their hands full, but may be further back than normal for a courteous door hold? Hold it anyways. Know someone has had it rough lately, but know something they love? Leave them a secret present. You never know what small gesture (in your eyes), can make a big impact in the life of someone else.

By the way, if I ever get around to making a custom bumper sticker(s) this would be one for the collection (perhaps it would give an explanation to the wide-eyed people on I-10) ...

WaxNotNeeded - The Truth [of Forgiveness over Failure]

Perfection.
Does it exist on Earth? Nope, it doesn’t, but you know what does?
Forgiveness.
That which is available in the measure of uncountable numbers for all those who believe and who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

What has been granted to us all is the ability to start anew each day, each hour on a better path, realigned and refocused in accordance to the will of the Father. Trust me when I say God is not surprised when you fall, for it is written, “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5p) and “You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my way. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me” (Psalm 139:2-5).

Do not allow one (or even a string of) bad choice(s) derail you from what you from the truth of the matter. God loves YOU and created YOU with love for His glory. There is no dark hole or back alley you can hide in (in life) which would take you out of the view of the Father (as it says in Job 28:24, “For He views the ends of the Earth and sees everything under the heavens”). Sure, the sin of life can pull us away from God, but as the saying goes “it is not God who moves, but us from Him” – He will continuously be watching, regardless, as we are His children.  As so it is written, “He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not sleep. Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither sleep nor slumber” (Psalm 121:3-4).

So I conclude with this, a favor, where-ever you are right now – as you read this, stop and thank the Father for keeping watch over you for it is written, “The Lord watches over you – the Lord is shade at your right hand; the sun will nor harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” (Psalm 121:5-7).

Dear Father, Thank You – Thank You – Thank You! Really what more can be said? You have given us life – and new life (salvation), shown us grace, forgiveness that has no measure, unconditional love, protection from the known and unknown, sustenance for all things and so much more! By the stripes of Your Son we have been healed from the depravity of this world and by Your Holy Spirit we find peace and comfort in this current age. May we never lose sight of where You brought us from and may we never limit where You may take us.  May we keep our minds focused on You and You alone for as it is written in Your word, “Set your mind on things above, not Earthly things” (Colossians 3:2). In the name of the King of King and Lord of Lords, Your son Jesus Christ – Emmanual – Yeshua, ><>

*LoveIs* - 2.12.12 (Grrrr to the Brrrrr)

Just so we all know, I very much dislike being cold. I wear knee highs (under jeans) in the middle of summer on days that are too windy, I wear gloves to drive in on days in which begin in the 50’s, I will coordinate any long sleeve work attire with a fluffy coat or track suit jacket without shame – just to be warm. So today, when I woke up and it was below freezing (of course) my human nature wanted me to stay in bed and not go to L5P, but then the Spirit brought this into remembrance as told by one of the attendees, “When it is extremely cold or raining, no one comes, but it is then we need it the most. For those are the days, we do not eat”.

*FACE-SMACK* right?

So I bundled myself up in as many layers as other people probably wear to go skiing on the alps and made my way downtown. I was delighted to see many familiar smiling faces as the egg-n-cheese biscuits and bottled water was handed out. I found peace in knowing that even if for some of them, who do not have a roof covering their head at night (as they carried their bedrolls with them and are unable to enter a shelter, for one reason or another), that they would have something tasty for their bellies to start out their day.

While sitting in the living room of my apartment last night I could hear the wind roaring outside and it’s in moments like that I think of the ones who have no home. How rough are their nights? How do they survive? By none other than God’s sustaining grace, I can assure you! Until you look into the face of someone who has spent the night outside in 20 degrees or below temperature wearing a ratty thermal shirt with patched together jeans nestled in a tore up sleeping bag, which laid upon the piercing concrete to have them say, “I am blessed and doing well today because God woke me up this morning”, well let me just say thankfulness and gratitude for your own situation takes on a whole new meaning.

Never-the-less as their bellies got filled, my Spirit overflowed today with their fellowship and in addition, as I was introduced by Pat today to a ministry that lies just a few blocks away from L5P at a church called Mercy Community. There sat some familiar faces that were warming up from the cold and new future friends who seemed as delighted to meet me, as I truly am to know of them. I met their leader Pastor Chad, who was busy at work carrying out his Sunday tasks and furthermore, made plans with Pat to visit them next Sunday after our group concludes. While driving to drop Pat off he relayed just a very brief history of how that ministry all started. It seems, that Pastor Chad, who now has four walls and a roof to call his own, started out working from his car and setting up shop on a park bench just a few steps down from where his shop is now. If hearts could smile, mine was at that moment, as within the same breathe Pat said, “If he can do it Hollie, you will be able to too. God will work it out.”  Amen, eh?

If you knew me ten years ago, you would probably never figure that this is what I would be doing today, heck even two years ago, I mean I surely didn’t. Even now sometimes I get caught up in the mental trickery of the devil, asking God “how me, why me, who am I to do such things”, but it is not by our goodness, do we do such, but by that goodness which was shown to us and that we are called to emulate to others from God, His Son and the Spirit (a la LOVE). I’ve said it once before and I will undoubtedly repeat it in the future, it is these times I look to Paul. I put my princess of the king panties on (wow I wonder if they really do make those) and say to myself (perhaps likewise the Spirit reminding me), “Now Hollie, if God can call a mega-mercenary of His people into His court to do His will, why then not you?”

*FACE-SMACK-AGAIN* right?

The same applies to ALL of His children. God has a purpose for all people, but it is up to us to listen for the call and to be a willing servant to act on His behalf. Not sure how to listen/where to go/how to start? Well picking up His love letter to us is always a great first option (aka the Bible), in addition to seeking Godly counsel or just simply praying and letting the Father know you are willing.

So in conclusion to God give the glory for all things and I hope you have a delightful evening/week/weekend. J

WaxNotNeeded - The Bestest Four Letter F Word

What would that word be?

FREE!

Not convinced? Well, don’t take my word for it – read through the scripture verse blast below and make your own conclusion.

“And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written,
“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,
BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,
AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,
TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,
TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.”
Luke 4:17-19 (NASB)

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:31-36

“Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.” Acts 13:38-39

“What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.” Romans 6:15-18

“Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4

“But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.” Romans 15:15-18

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.” 1 Corinthians 2:11-13

“What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make use of my rights in preaching it. Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.” 1 Corinthians 9:18-21

“Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham.” Hebrews 2:14-16

“For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.” 1 Peter 2:15-17

Told Ya So =)

Dear Heavenly Father – Thank You for setting us FREE through Your Son Jesus Christ, by whom alone we are counted whole again in Your sight. May the number of Your kingdom grow more and more each day, as those around us learn this truth for themselves. In the name of Your Son Jesus, ><>

*LoveIs* - 2.5.12

May You feed a hungry world through me.

This is the petition in which my hearts beckons to God, for my own lot in life. I see it staring back at me, every time I look at myself in the bathroom mirror. It is a reminder that my life is pretty awesome, I am saved – have a job – food in my belly and a roof over my head. There are so many people in the world that have only one or two of the things listed, even more so those who have none at all.

Someone asked me today, “What makes you do this Hollie, come out here all smiles and help those who (some) even refuse to help themselves?” My answer was that which it will always be, “Jesus told me to.”

Of course, when I first felt the desire to go to Little 5 Points Atlanta, GA (which according to sources has such a name because on a map the historical points of the town is in the shape of a pentagram), I was confused, scared and kind of felt like a child who wanted to rebuttal to their parents “what the heck for” in a *WHHHYY* sort of manner. Once or twice I went down with friends to hand out items, but it was the day in which I went down by myself that changed it all. Looking back on it, I can see why my loved ones were a bit apprehensive of the move. I mean it isn’t every day someone carrying a backpack of water bottles and a purple roller luggage suitcase filled with paper bags of hygiene items and canned foods is seen strolling around, handing out this and that to whomever they meet (since then though I have walked down Peachtree with a rolling cooler, so my jitters about sticking out has so gone away). Even more so going into an area that has been known to, on occasion, be a house for violence, drug use and sexual exploitation. However, it was on that day that something inside me awakened, it was the day (as my mom likes to put it); I learned to love like Jesus.

Of course as the months have passed, the set up has become a lot more organized since I work alongside a trio of godly men who have been assisting in this area every Sunday for going on 16 years now. Today, I even got to meet someone who was once on the streets, but now showed no trace of his past, only smiles, as he proudly showed off his new grandson to all of his old runaround buddies.

I cannot imagine not doing what is I do, as people have heard me state before – if this could be my full time job, I would be ever so much grateful. I have looked into becoming a 501-c and the like, but a lot more goes into starting such then what meets the eye (aka it requires a lawyer, accountant & money, oh my!). However, I have faith that all things will come to be in God’s timing and it seems that I am not the only one who thinks such, as a few people have mentioned the progression of the ministry, of what they see in the future for it all. By any means, I have already started recruiting those who are about to make their move off of the streets into four walled buildings to come back and assist on Sundays.

So with all of that being said, I leave you with this …

The two buildings (which are now I believe apartments) are where I would love to see the future of this ministry unfold. I would love to convert 1 into a night time homeless shelter, for those which strictly want a place to lay their head / take a shower; and the other into a more “live to work” building in which assists people in a more in-depth way of getting off of the streets, to provide a foundation of sorts . Of course, there would also be a dedicated area for a “church”, a kitchen/dinning area, clothing/goods “shop” and even simple clinic of sorts (1 of the above mentioned in the trio is a RN).

So, with all of that thank you for taking the time to read, much love and prayers for your week & if you know of anyone who can assist in any of the above, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line (email button is on the right sidebar).

Humbly, I ask that if you read this, you do take a moment to pray for Brother Dewey. He started this ministry with his friend (who has since passed on and is now with the Father) 16 years ago and now he himself, has been having some issues with his heart. He hasn’t been able to join for about 2 – 3 months now, and it will be another 1 before the doctors feel comfortable in him returning. So many prayers to God for him, asking for speedy recovery and continued health, as he is such a blessing to those which he has know for these past years and everyone misses him terribly.

WaxNotNeeded Fill Me Up -

"Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:15-20

Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit? Now, I am not necessarily speaking on the “speaking in tongues, falling on the ground trembling” variant of this, but rather the times when you are in complete communion with God, while carry out His will on a specific task, fellowshipping with others about Him and so on. For me, it is like this giddy, goose bump, better-than-any Starbucks beverage high of sorts, in which I don’t want to let go of when it happens (perhaps even a tear or two may drop, depending). I can only hope that once we are in the glory of Father God and His Son such a feeling is constant, everlasting. Perhaps, some people even feel like this all the time now, well I must admit I’m a little jelly (jealous) of that if so - heh. ;)

To be filled with the Holy Spirit and to feel the presence of God within your being is a wonderful gift. It is something that we each can experience individually and as a group. It is the “sign” (if so generically called such) to this verse in Hebrews, “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” and that in John 14:16-17, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you”.

Now, as believers the Spirit does reside within us all. We receive the Spirit when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and He is constantly there to comfort, guide and remind us of the Father’s will. When one is “filled” for this point of reference, it is when the Spirit of God inside of you is rejoicing and henceforth your communion brings about a higher level of fellowship, where as almost (visually as I like to think of it), the Trinity (Father, Son and Spirit) are linked together as a circle and you in the middle of it all. It is in this time both that which is spiritual and earthly are in one accord, as you relinquish in yourself all that you are and give every fiber of your being back to the One who created you.

Find this place. Feed of this place. Long to be in the place. Be in this place as MUCH AS POSSIBLE. The more you are in it, the more you will grow. The more you grow, in turn the more you will know about God, His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, His purpose for this world and His plan for your life.

Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You with thanksgiving in our hearts. Thank You for sending a Helper, one to led and guide us – one to assist us in keeping our eyes on the eternal rather than the temporary. Thank You for letting us commune with You, when you could just so easily have left us out in the wilderness of this world alone. May we draw closer to You in all that we do. May we experience the fullness of Your love as You desire it to be. In Jesus name, ><>
